The EL is having several meetings with Cuban comrades during these first days of October.

The first day the delegation composed by Maite Mola, the EL vice-president and responsible for international relations! Obey Ament (PCF), the EL Coordinator of the Latin America working group, Yiannis Bournous (SYRIZA), Renato Soeiro (Bloco de Esquerda), Maurizio Acerbo (Partito Della Rifondazione Comunista), has already have a great day of meetings.

It started with the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affeirs and in the afternoon the delegation met the Cuban Institute of friendship with peoples (ICAP). In both meetings the blockade still in place even after the reopening of the negotiations with the US, the relations with the EU, And the solidarity with the Latin American progressive peoples have been at the core of the discussions.

In the meddle of the two, the EL visited the community project "Fuster", an incredible work of art made by houses and yards in a very poor neighboring of fishermen, Gaudì-style.

The delegation will continue tomorrow with the visit to the National Assembly and the meetings with Unions and Youth.

Once again the EL proves to stand alongside revolutionary forces struggling against neo-liberalism and capitalism. Hasta la victoria!
