On the occasion of the EU-CELAC

Claiming Sovereignty against trade and investment architecture promoted by the multinationals.
On the occasion of the EU-CELAC Summit, social movements in Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean in the current context of intensification of trade and investment architecture promoted by the multinationals, are deepening global social resistance.
The debate will cover three aspects: 1) Framing the current situation in Europe and Latin America; 2) Offensive current free trade agreements and bilateral investment treaties; Austerity, and global grabbing resources; 3) New Initiatives, Alternatives and Strategies: Treaty of Peoples and the Transnational Campaign; the historic opportunity for a UN Treaty on Transnational; Audit Ecuadorian Investment: new forms of struggle and resistance.
The three days are organized into two blocks: "Claiming Sovereignty by the Access to Justice", which has speaken of
· Permanent People's Tribunal and the Treaty of the Peoples. Global campaign to dismantle the power of transnational corporations and end impunity
· Testimonials resistance to the power of transnational and impunity.
· Affected Communities and the fight for justice
· Treaty on transnational NU as a way to obtain justice.
And "New Generation of Free Trade Agreements and their impact on Latin America and Europe" that has covered:
· TTIP and the Rest of the World - TISA, CETA and TPP
· EU FTAs in Latin America (Mexico, Central America, Andean Countries and Mercosur). Confronting the neoliberal agenda of the transnationals.
As part of these meetings, statements and communications will be delivered to heads of states of the 61 countries and the people's summit.
