Last night people who are claiming more right in Turkey suffered the most brutal fascist repressive tactics by security forces since the demonstrations started two weeks ago.  Riot police used tear gas and water cannons to clear the protest camp in Istanbul's Gezi Park and the Taksim Square following the autoritarian Erdogan words: "If Taksim Square is not evacuated, this country's security forces will know how to evacuate it" .

The repression will not stop the voices of protest all around the county. The Party of the European Left which has been in Istanbul this week, give full support to the claims of people and organizations from all walks of life, including labour unions, teacher unions, student unions and academics and ask the government for a radical chance of policy.
