First of all we want to send to his family and friends our condolences and also to the Venezuelan people that has kept voting and supporting him.
 
This popular support is seen through the continuous struggle of the people in order to build a Bolivarian republic of Venezuela characterised by social justice, solidarity and another redistribution of wealth, the access for all in education, health and culture.
 
All these achievements are supported and appreciated by the Venezuelans that in spite of all kind of pressures, including a coup d’état coming from abroad but also from the Venezuelan oligarchy, supported the Bolivarian Revolution and Hugo Chavez until the end.

It’s convenient to remind that while in Europe democracy is failing in Venezuela participatory democracy has become an identity sign.

On the other hand the role played by Hugo Chavez has to be recognized for the process of regional integration being able to convert Latin America in an example of regional integration with ALBA as a way to achieve more strength and democracy.

We express our desire to the people of Venezuela of a quiet process that is able to further advance in social progress, transformation and justice
