We consider as a hope, the fact that a mass movement for the right to energy, demanding renationalization of this sector, has led to the fall of a neoliberal government. It creates hope for all citizens fighting in Europe against privatizations and for social rights.
Moreover, there is now an occasion for political change in Bulgaria.
People had enough in the poorest country in the EU with the authoritarian right government of GERB and caused pre-term parliamentary elections. The parties of the ‘transition’ turned to be unwanted.
The European Left will fully support the Bulgarian Left Party, an EL member, in their consecutive efforts for a radical change in the country.
We carry on a joint and solidary struggle for a different EU and for a different Bulgaria:  democratic, peaceful, ecological and socially fair, establishing an alternative to the capitalism socio-economic and political model.
Every vote for the Bulgarian Left Party will be one for a solidary and prosperous Europe.
