The 22nd of October the second interregional forum channel Elbe Danube took place in Břeclav (CZ). The 4 member parties of the European Left SDS (CZ), Munkaspart 2006 (HU) and KPÖ as well as KSČM (CZ). 27 Persons from 4 Parties and invited guests from the KKS (Communist Club of Slovakia) participated. Activists, leading functionaries as well as delegates to nationwide parliaments and municipalities attended. The meeting was very free and open.

The issues of the discussion circled around labour conditions of people migrating for work in the region. In order to allow more focus and target oriented discussion participating parties have shared the information on labour and cross borders workers before meeting. This proved to be a good practice.

All the respective languages were being spoken with English and Russian as support languages. Translation was being done on request by the attendees themselves.  Thus it became an interregional experience in itself.

The atmosphere as well as the discussions lived up to the expectations.

Next interregional forum was planned for the first quarter of 2017 taking place in Hungary with discussion focusing on "Precarious situation of Women in the Society"  x  "Today´s life through the eyes of Women. "
