As it has already become a tradition, the Party of the European Left this year again invites to celebrate the beginning of the new year together. At Sunday the 12. January - after the commemoration of Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht - the Volksbühne at Rosa-Luxemburg square in Berlin will open its doors for a cultural-political event.
We are looking very much forward to have as guests:
the vice chair of DIE LINKE faction in Bundestag, Dietmar Bartsch, the poet Volker Braun, the singer Katja Ebstein, chair of DIE LINKE faction in Bundestag, Gregor Gysi, the party chairs Katja Kipping and Bernd Riexinger, Oskar Lafontaine, president of the Party of the European Left, Pierre Laurent, the antifascist, character actress, and Brecht interpreter Gisela May, vice president of the Party of the European Left, Maite Mola, vice chair of DIE LINKE group in Bundestag, Sahra Wagenknecht, as well as writer and undercover journalist Günter Walraff.
As one of the surprise guests the band of Florian Erkner from Mannheim will present a song for Edward Snowden.
