The delegation, composed of several Deputies and leaders of member parties of the EL, will be on the ground from 27 to 30 October. The 29^th, the President of EL Pierre Laurent who will be visiting the area with a delegation of the PCF will join the EL group to continue the work together

The purpose of the visit is to know the reality on the ground, visit the refugee camps, talk directly to the affected population and meet with the representatives of local authorities and the political and social groups in the area.

The EL will continue to promote peace and political solution for the region and supports the courageous work of Kurdish local authorities implementing solidarity policies with very few resources.

The visit has been organized on the eve of a global mobilization of solidarity with the people of Kobane, and against and the Islamic State that will be held on November 1.
