The party "Golden Dawn", officially known for its fascist and repeated violence against migrants, has once again exceed the limits.

Ilias Kasidiaris, a MP of this party assaulted, live on Greek television, two representatives of the left. Confronted to his lack of argument, he lost the control of his impulses inherited from the fascist tradition, and threw a glass of water in the face of Rena Dorou, MP of the Syriza coalition and did not hesitate to hit Liana Kaneli, MP of the Communist Party (KKE).

Pierre Laurent, President of the Party of European Left said: "In the 21st century, in Europe, we can no longer tolerate this kind of barbaric behaviour."

The EL strongly condemns this unspeakable acts and supports the two MPs whose physical integrity has been attacked. This is an extremely serious offense. Kasidiaris, already sued for similar offenses must be punished. It is inconceivable that this person could seek re-election.
