The European Left is outraged by contents of the Estonian Security Police
The Estonian Security Police annual review noted that people who opposed the meeting of Waffen -SS soldiers actually attacked thereby Estonia: “ these angry attacks against Estonia and, more generally, against Europe´s approach to history, can be explained by the increasingly consistent efforts of the Russian authorities to revive Soviet traditions and historiography ” . ’ rallies held every year, and in promoting the policy of glorification of the Hitlerite army and its crimes. The fight against anti-fascists and anti-fascism becomes the official policy in Estonia. It was felt on the personal experience by participants of anti-fascist picket in Sinimae in 2011; it proves to be true by contents of the shameful annual review of the Estonian Security Police.
Having published such a review with the above-mentioned conclusions, the Estonian official structures confirmed once again their complicity and involvement in the Waffen-SS veterans
We urge the European Union and the Council of Europe leadership to condemn the “ witch-hunt ” carried out by the Estonian authorities on anti-fascists and not to allow from now on any form of glorification of war criminals and their accomplices .

“annual review 2011” published in Estonia, which blames the anti-fascists of extremism and attack on Estonia. In this context, the report included the photo of EL Vice-Chair, Grigore Petrenco, and Member of the EL Executive Board, Andrey Zarenkov, who participated in the anti-fascist picket against the annual rally of Waffen-SS veterans and their admirers in Sinimae town traditionally held in Estonia.
