Facing the brutal, bloody and murderous repression of yesterday’s demonstrations near the Ramat HaGolan, which killed more than 23 people and provoked around 350 injured, when they were legitimately demonstrating against the Israel’s permanent violation of international law and the illegal occupation of this State's territories, including the Ramat HaGolan, East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza since 1967 war.
The Party of the European Left denounces that any State considered to be democratic and human rights defender can open fire against unarmed people who are carrying out legitimate acts of protest.
The EU cannot maintain privileges with the State of Israel, as the preferential agreement.
The EU Member States should recognize the Palestinian State with its pre-1967 war borders in order to move forward towards the resolution of the conflict.
