The Party of the European Left condemns the attack which occurred Friday in one of the touristic areas of the city of Marrakesh.
The PEL expresses deepest condolences to the families of the 18 killed people and to the more than 20 wounded.
We demand that Moroccan authorities investigate the attack and attribute the responsibilities of the authors of this infamous event. In the same way, the EL reiterates its solidarity with the movements in Morocco demanding social reforms and better life conditions for the population, and we appeal to the King of Morocco to use this deplorable attack, in somehow, to thwart the demands of change of the Moroccan people.
