The indipendent rock band "Bandista" from Istanbul and the legendary "Modena City Ramblers" from Italy were among the bands and artists who were hosted on the two stages during the three days of the Festival.
The European Left was present at the Festival with its own stand. Hundreds of visitors came by to discuss about the social resistance across Europe and to ask questions about the member parties and the forthcoming 3rd Congress of the EL.
Francisco Louca, the leader of Bloco de Esquerda (Portugal), and Ben Brusniak from the Executive Board of Die Linke (Germany) were the main foreign guests of the Festival.
Francisco Louca addressed a massive audience, just before the main speech of the President of Synaspismos, Alexis Tsipras, on Saturday (1 Oct.), while Ben Brusniak participated in a panel discussion about the crisis, its effects and the local, national and European answers of the Left.
