Subjects to be openly discussed in a friendly atmosphere until Sunday include governmental experiences in Latin America, the global economic crisis, diversity of the left movements and the situation in the Mediterranean.

The event is also an occasion to deepen knowledge and meet EL militants from different countries across Europe, along with the left activists from LatinAmerica: this reflects the necessity and the wish that the left becomes increasingly engaged in common causes, strengthening ties, and exchanging the variety of views.
 
Invited speakers have different academic backgrounds, like sociology and economy, and are also coming from several countries. Former economy minister of Ecuador will address the participants of two plenary sessions, consecrated to the “Anatomy of the global crisis” and Latin America.
    
As in past occasions, the activities will include cultural visits and hopefully enough time to take advantage from Spanish sunshine!
