About 100 guest took place on the opening evening of the EL-Office in Brussels. Pedro Marset, treasurer of the EL and Executive Board Member, Helmut Scholz (PDS) gave short introductions to the participants of this event. members of the left group in the European Parliament, members of social movements like attac and the European Trade Union spent more than 5 hours at the EL.

Scholz and Marset underlined, that this office will be open for everybody, who is interessted in left actions and politics, like the EL, too.
